Included in our build programmes are
"In-Line Transfer Machines" for drilling, milling and boring
incorporating multi-spindle machining heads. The "AGENA" build programme includes "In-Line" transfer
machines individually designed around the requirements of customers
components.
In-line transfer machines are constructed from a standard central stall,
representing one or two machining access points.
The machines are constructed by joining multiple central stalls to
provide the number of machining stations required.
Each machining station has the option of being horizontal, vertical or
angled. Components are moved through the various machining stations by the
employment of an overhead transfer. Machining stations can be configured with
torque monitoring and broken tool detection systems.
Machines with up to twelve stations have been built and are in current
production use, although twelve stations does not represent a physical limit.
