Consisting of a central base configured with
eight or twelve faces for machining stall location. The component is located
into a holding fixture, which indexes around inside the machining stalls one
station per machining pass.
Machining stations can be mounted horizontally, vertically or inclined. Rotary
fluid couplings are utilised to provide fixture clamping, coolant and air
services.
Like other machines within the Agena range, torque controlled machining and tool
breakage monitoring can be employed.
