With the ability to fine-tune the designs accurately, it is now
paramount that the theoretical con-rod design is replicated exactly in
the physical component.
All design data is transferred electronically to the forging companies
for download to the die manufacturing machines.
Prototype con-rods can be manufactured in volumes of 20 up to several
hundred. To ensure accurate physical testing,
all prototypes are manufactured using “Make Like Production”
philosophy.Once a component design has been
established, various machining line techniques can be employed to
design, build and install a manufacturing facility.
