It is the policy of Albon Engineering & Manufacturing PLC to make sure all our employees are well trained in every aspect of their work possible. This starts with an induction into the company history, abridged Health and Safety lecture and a full understanding of the quality management system specified in the quality and procedure manuals, which have been designed to satisfy the requirements of ISO/TS16949:2009.
Training is a priority in our minds as it helps us understand and satisfy the needs of our customers with the aim of zero defects.
In addition to our own training, Albon employees are also given outside training courses on various subjects i.e. to further the knowledge one already holds, and in-house training on equipment that is used in the production of our products. This creates a wide area of interest and gives an insight into the products we use and manufacture.
Many of our staff have gone on many different training courses when required, this keeps Albon’s employees well educated in their field of work and responsibility. Some of the training courses we have sent our staff on are as follows:
Albon encourages as much internal training as it can physically offer, this increases our capabilities as a company. Having staff members prepared to go the ‘extra mile’ to learn new tasks and roles to benefit our staff and company progression. Internal training is used to teach new and current staff members company processes, operational control plans, work instructions, gauging calibration & usage, internal process changes, factory labelling, cleanliness and many other different criteria.
